The primary goal behind our brand refresh was to honor BILL’s deep roots in traditional accounting while relating to a contemporary audience — paving a path forward as BILL expands its offerings with new technologies.
As motion lead, I established a set of motion principles, technicals, and resources to inform all of our animations.

BILL’s movement is grounded in real world physics and ease of comprehension. These two tenets mixed with various stylizations further enhance the brand’s warmth, nostalgia, and humanness.
With these guiding lights, our motion team can produce impressive works while still contributing to a consistency that spans all of BILL’s marketing channels.
